Farm
Since 1961, Fattoria Santo Stefano has been one of the historic family-run businesses in the Chianti Classico region. We are located in the green heart of Tuscany, on the outskirts of Greve in Chianti, where the hills open up to a breathtaking panorama, stretching from south-east to north-west, with a glimpse of the Apuan Alps on the horizon.
We are located on the hillside of Mount Collegalle, about 400 metres above sea level: an ancient land crossed by a stretch of the Roman-era Via Francigena. A place where history has left its mark, and where today travellers and wine and culture enthusiasts come to rediscover authenticity and beauty.
The Santo Stefano Farm is the ideal starting point for those who love walking and discovering Chianti slowly, along the dirt roads that have always characterised this unique area of Tuscany.
Vineyards and Olive Groves
Since the year 1000, these hills have been naturally populated by Sangiovese vines and Frantoio and Leccino olive trees. A natural vocation that we have preserved and nurtured with passion. In the nineteenth century, thanks to the far-sighted owners, the estate saw the arrival of international varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, which found a new home here, resulting in elegant and intense blends.
Today we cultivate our vineyards and olive groves sustainably, with respect for the land and time, to offer genuine products that truly tell the story of who we are.
